Middleweights (160, 154)

1. Bernard Hopkins (45-2-1). One perfect shot to Oscar De La Hoya's liver wrapped up 19th defense and sealed legacy as all-time great. Congrats, Bernard. Next: TBA.

2. Winky Wright (47-3). His trainer, Dan Birmingham, is one of the most underrated cornermen in the sport. Next: Nov. 20 vs. Shane Mosley.

3. Felix Trinidad (42-1). Welcome back, Tito. Came out of 29-month retirement to electrify boxing and spank Ricardo Mayorga in spectacular fight. Next: TBA.

4. Howard Eastman (40-1). Easily outpointed late sub Jerry Elliott when Jorge Sendra failed pre-fight medical test; deserves Hopkins fight. Next: TBA.

5. Oscar De La Hoya (37-4). It takes about 30 seconds to recover from a strong liver shot. Unfortunately, you get only 10 seconds in boxing. Next: TBA.

6. Felix Sturm (21-1). Dominated Robert Frazier last month; Hopkins could be next in early 2005. Next: TBA.

7. Shane Mosley (39-3). If he avenges Wright loss, Trinidad-Mosley is a huge fight. Next: Nov. 20 vs. Wright.

8. Kassim Ouma (20-1-1). Exciting young star beat Verno Phillips again, this time to win a 154 belt. Next: TBA.

9. Daniel Santos (29-2-1). In their rematch, barely kept 154 belt with entertaining ninth-round split technical decision vs. Antonio Margarito. Next: TBA.

10. Travis Simms (24-0). Underexposed 154 titlist scored impressive decision win against Bronco McKart. Next: TBA.

Others: William Joppy, Javier Castillejo, Jermain Taylor.

I only knew because USA today combines 154 and 160 and calls them all Middleweights.

I've seen their rankings before and this confirms it. Theyre truly idiots.
